Short answer: If an online age check fails, review the information you entered and use the retailer’s official support channel. Do not assume a failed check can always be overridden by uploading any particular document. The accepted process depends on the store and verification provider.
What to do after a failed check
- Check for typos in your legal name, address and date of birth.
- Read the on-screen notice and the store’s current terms. VapeRoster’s terms say an order that fails mandatory verification may be cancelled.
- If the official checkout offers another verification step, follow that provider’s instructions and privacy notice. Do not assume it accepts a passport, military ID or other document unless the prompt states so.
- If the process is unclear, use VapeRoster’s contact page to ask about the order. Do not send an ID image to an unexpected email, chat or link.
Why stores check age
U.S. tobacco products may not be sold to people under 21. The ATF describes age-verification duties for delivery sellers. State and local requirements may differ; the checkout process for a specific address can involve additional checks. A simple age-gate pop-up is not a substitute for the retailer’s required verification.
